I'm not a writer, but I play one in this journal.
Any thoughts that this is a great work of fiction must be thrown out and
thoroughly stomped before reading. I'm doing this for fun . . . plain and simple.
If it stops being fun I'll probably stop doing it.
This is a story about a girl who's a Sorceress, a boy who was turned into a horse, and the Prince they rescue. Sounds fairly uncomplicated doesn't it?
You obviously haven't met my muse. ;P
I am inspired by Anime, Manga, Tolkien, Thurber, and various other sources that will get too numerous to list here. Needless to say . . . I shamelesslysteal make homage to all of my sources. If you get it, great. If not . . . even better ;P
The story itself it titled The Wand and the Sword. It may, or may not, become a comic. It is a finished story, in that it has a beginning, middle, and end.
But it needs a lot of editing.
I've stopped posting the story for now . . . it's in the process of severe editing. But, I do post pictures on occasion still, and I'm hoping to have the comic started in fairly short order . . . at least part of it. Stay Tuned.
Drawings are posted whenever I get the chance to get anything drawn. If you're curious, all of the art for this is also posted at my DA site.
That's all I've got for the moment. Enjoy yourselves.
But no stealing! I did a lot of bike riding to come up with this . . . a lot of sweat in this work.
